How We Work
Consultation, design and quote, workshop build, installation. Everything drawn and priced before we cut.
Grain & Gild works in four steps: a site visit and measure, drawings and a fixed quote with materials named, workshop build in Dubai, then installation by our own team. Timelines are confirmed in writing at quote stage.
The four steps
Consultation and measure
We visit your home, apartment or site, take detailed measurements, and understand the brief. If your project is commercial or you are working with a designer, we work from the drawing set instead. Either way, the measurements we start with are ours, not assumed.
Design and quote
You get drawings that show the piece to scale, a written material specification (timber, veneer, hardware, finish), and a fixed price with an install date. Nothing is cut before you approve. If you want changes, we revise the drawings and requote.
Workshop build
Every piece is made in our Dubai workshop by our own joiners. Cabinet carcasses, doors and drawers, veneering, lacquering and finishing all happen under one roof. We photograph key stages so you see the piece taking shape before it arrives on site.
Installation
Our team installs on the date agreed at quote stage. We coordinate with other trades on site (electrical, stone, upholstery) and leave the site clean. Every completed install is walked through with you before we sign off.
After install
Adjustments to hinges, drawer runners or door alignment in the first months are covered. Timber and veneer settle in the first few weeks of a new install; we return to fine-tune where needed.
